- [Narrator] QuickBooks comes with two different samples for you to experiment with. There's a sample product based business in which the lead items are products, such as merchandise or a sample service based business, such as landscaping. QuickBooks will set up the chart of accounts a little bit differently in each company to reflect the business focus. It is entirely possible that your company sells both products and services. And I even do cover that in the course. So it really doesn't matter which one you pick to play around with. They're both here to give you a little bit of help and point you in the right direction. If you just want to play around with QuickBooks first. That's why I encourage you to open up these sample files.
