Finding your target market is about determining who your audience is, and knowing very clearly who you're targeting will help you save money by not buying unrelated lists. So, for example, if you're planning to focus on buy and holds, then you probably won't want to mail to probate properties, which usually need at least some updating or repairs. And also, knowing who you're targeting will help you save money because then you won't be spending money on time and labor to create unproductive mailings. Now, the type of real estate investing you do will be a major factor in determining what list to mail to. Now, a lot of us are probably going to be focusing on wholesaling and rehabbing.
