- Which collaborative company do you aspire to become? Whether you're establishing a culture change or want teams to make collaboration a primary focus, it's important to designate a role model to guide your decisions. Start by inviting a mix of leaders and employees to a discussion about collaboration. Ask them to bring examples of collaborative companies, brands, or people they find inspiring. In your meeting invite, consider including some examples of collaboration in action, such as the lack of organizational silos at Zappos, or how Pixar employees constantly share feedback with each other on works in progress, or the way Starbucks is willing to consider a partnership with anyone who asks.
