From the course: Inspirational Leadership Skills: Practical Motivational Leadership

Introduction

- My biggest regret from when I was a manager is that I should have delegated more. I don't think I was terrible, but I could have delegated more. Looking back now thinking about it, I could have and I should have delegated more. It would have been easier for me and it would have been better for them as well. So I really think delegation is an absolutely key skill. When managers complain to me that they're too busy and have struggles with their time management, delegating's always the first thing I look at. It's the biggest win. You know you can save a little bit time by having efficient systems or something like that, but delegating, the benefits can be huge. So we really need to get to the bottom of delegating. We need to look at why you should do it, how to do it, tricks and everything. So this section we're going to really look thoroughly at how to be a great delegator.
