- The final thing to look out considering how to keep ourselves motivated is what to do if it just isn't working. Sometimes we find ourselves in a rut. Our calls aren't getting anywhere, our emails aren't getting a response, our LinkedIn is quiet and marketing haven't given us a lead for a long time. When this happens, do not panic. It isn't over you're not a bad salesperson. We've just adapted into a way of selling that isn't working at the moment. And when this happens, we can't just keep doing what we've been doing all along.
