Keep separate lists for different projects

- If you're like most people, you have several lists of things to do. I had a client once that had seven lists going for the things they wanted to accomplish. Once we cut out the redundant items and streamlined them down to just several lists, they could really prioritize what they wanted to achieve. Separate from your daily to-do list, you'll want to keep a list of ongoing projects, or a rolling to-do list. Where your daily list is actionable items, your project list can be in more general terms. For example, you might list, write the introduction to the report on your daily to-do list. And you could have hire a contractor for the website on your project list. Keeping several lists is one of the best ways to get your ideas out of your head and onto the page. When you keep several lists it will help you to stay more focused on your next steps and with your project or rolling list you can pull from it to use on your daily to-do list every day.
