- What makes the difference between a good enough leader and a really great one? Their strategy. A lot of people can bumble and fumble their way through leadership, but an excellent leader is one that prioritizes leading strategically. When you aren't careful in your approach to leadership, you risk making poor decisions, jeopardizing relationships, and failing to meet your goals. Being a strategic leader gives you a shot at avoiding these common pitfalls and instead sets you and your team on a course for success. I'm Eric Zackrison, I'm a professor, a consultant, and I've managed and owned businesses for nearly 30 years. And I can tell you, strategic leadership has been at the heart of my success.
