- I've shared some ideas on how to rethink building connection and engagement on your team, and I've suggested how you approach it through coaching conversations with your people one-on-one and through using intentional leadership techniques to connect your team with each other and the organization. One last thing I'd like to remind you of is to look after yourself. Leading a team is hard at the best of times, but trying to find new ways to lead when your team is dispersed is another level of challenge. So don't forget that oxygen mask analogy. You simply won't be able to lead your team if your own resources are depleted.
