Make your own luck
- It's easy to look at successful people and think, oh, well, they just got lucky. But in my experience, successful people are way more determined than they are lucky. In this lesson, I want to give you a few tips on how you can make your own luck. First of all, I noticed that successful people don't just take no for an answer. If something can't happen one way, it'll happen another way. If they can't get a hundred percent of what they want, they'll get 50% of what they want. They will keep asking until they see the movement that they want. This also has to do with certainty. You may have heard that in sales the person with the most certainty wins, and that's true. So you need to do the work to convince yourself that you have something important to contribute, that you can be helpful to a person or a project.
