The number one mistake I see teams make when implementing OKRs is they set it and forget it. In order to create powerful results, you and your team should consistently revisit and manage OKRs over a quarter or a year. Here are a few ways that help you to do this well. First, set your cadence. After designing and writing your OKRs as a team, set an agreed-upon meeting and reporting cadence. Some organizations measure OKRs monthly, some quarterly, and some annually. This all depends on the size and makeup of the group and the difficulty of the OKR. I've seen the most success with semi-annual or six-month OKRs with a bimonthly check in to start things off.
