- The mind can only absorb what a chair can endure. Wait, what did I just say? What I mean by that is when it's too much work to try to figure out what a person is trying to say, sitting in a chair can feel like torture. Weekly, my team and I hear pleas from leaders begging, "Can you give my team skills "so they can get to the point, "so they can streamline their message?" I have to constantly interrupt them and say, "What's your point?" If you've ever had someone interrupt you in a presentation and say, "What's your point?", you know it's something you want to avoid.
