- Hi there, Daryl from Chill. Mindful leadership is less about a specific style or technique that you need to cultivate. Rather, it's about how you focus your attention and your awareness in any given situation as a leader. There's four key concepts to explore and embrace. The first, emotional intelligence, being able to recognize and identify emotions within yourself and others. The next would be compassion, this idea of cultivating sympathetic concern for others and thus, building trust. Next, to expand flexibility and not flexibility in body. You don't need to touch your toes to be a mindful leader but mental agility, being able to pivot in any given situation. And then finally, cultivating a lifelong practice of mindful meditation as a tool to support you in a expanding your awareness, strengthening yourself as a mindful leader.
