- You may be familiar with the phrase, "It's not what you know, it's who you know," and that is so true. For a second, let's think of your passions, your goals, your dream job. Wouldn't it be cool if you can achieve all of that? Well, you can, and you can do so through making connections. Throughout this course, we're going to talk about all things networking, how to ask for an informational interview, and also how to ask for a referral, and how all of those things tie into building long-lasting relationships. I'm Jayla, and I'm currently a sophomore in college, but so far I have been able to have internships, jobs, and meet people who I have never imagined myself meeting before. And this has all been through making connections. So hang out with me as we walk along this course, and see what you can pick up to personalize for your own career path. Let's get to it.
