- Imperfection is a part of our lives. We are perfectly imperfect people. Every day we make mistakes, we struggle and we have obstacles to overcome. Marie Curie was a pioneer in the field of radioactivity despite her struggles with depression. Ludwig van Beethoven one of the greatest composers ever to have lived not only dealt with depression but also deafness later in life while still composing some of his greatest works.
