Practice: Stay grounded in change

- This mindfulness practice is to help you become aware of your response to change and evolve your relationship with change and ambiguity. Find a quiet space. Shut off any distractions. Sit comfortably, spine straight, shoulders relaxed, feet on the floor. You can close your eyes or soften your gaze. Inhale through your nose. Exhale through the mouth. Now, let's start to deepen your breath. Breathe in. 2, 3, 4, breathe out. 2, 3, 4, breathe in. 2, 3, 4, breathe out, 2, 3, 4. Now bring to mind a situation you're faced with where there's a change around you and it impacts you personally. Perhaps it's creating worry. Notice the thoughts the mind has about the situation. You can choose to label them. It could be worry or doubt, or judgment of others. We're trying to observe the mind's reaction to situations where there's change and ambiguity.
