- One of the biggest hurdles you're going to experience in moving to agile marketing is really just about change management. It's important to get everyone on the same page with this new approach, and that can take some time. I've developed a set of best practices for data-driven marketing, and I want to share the three most important ones with you. First, remember that agile marketing is one step at a time in a continuous delivery loop. So above all, when it comes to your data, don't attempt to do everything at once. The phrase boil the ocean comes to mind here. Time and time again, when I've started to work with a new client, they're baffled that they haven't realized the value of their data.
