(upbeat orchestral music) - I want to talk a little bit about your journey with 3S, which for folks listening, you call it 3S instead of 5S because? - It's leaner. - It's leaner. - Yes. - And you never stop standardizing and sustaining, so really it's the first three right? That you just keep doing. So talk a little bit about, we keep saying here on this episode before lean, but I guess before you guys bought into this perhaps it was a bit of a mess in some areas? - Yep, yep. - Yeah? So when you began to practice 3S, how did you go about it? Was it like a formal program, every time every day? Something like that? - Yes, well we had a time in the morning, so we had lean improvement time. So say for half an hour, throughout the whole factory, and through the office, so we went through our areas and we tried to improve the area.
