- So we've covered your elevator pitch, your pitch meeting, and what questions you should anticipate from investors. Now let's discuss what you should be asking your potential investors. You've done a great job narrowing down what investors could be a good fit and in your pitch meeting you'll have a chance to dig a little deeper. You want to understand what the investor is passionate about, how they invest, and what other resources they can bring to the table. Let's start with questions that give you more information on how the firm invests. What fund is this, meaning how many funds has the firm gone through? This gives you good indication of how long the firm has been around and their success. What stage of the fund are you in?
