Preparing as a team

- Well, the best way to prepare as a team, or as a team, is to actually prepare as a team. So one is to put the time aside and to make it a best practice that you all come together prior to client meetings. I think a lot of people don't like to do pre-call planning or what I call pre-call sprints, and the reason they don't is because those meetings go on too long. They're too inconclusive. I think they also can run down a rabbit hole of trying to solve a problem that we haven't even figured out what it is yet. We haven't met with the client long enough. We don't have enough detail. So it's really important to not just focus on what you're going to talk about, but what are the roles and responsibilities that each person on the team is going to serve so that you can be more influential. How can you prepare appropriately to introduce yourselves so that it's tight and focused? How can you know who's asking which questions…
