- You know that saying you always have to watch out for the quiet ones. You know, the ones who sit back and wait and make sure they've got all the information gathered before they engage. Those people are processors. And you always want somebody like this on your team. Processors are willing to take the time to dig into the detail and really understand what's going on before they speak up. They are both seldom affiliative and seldom directive and it can be a great place to lead from. Processors can be identified by their calculated communication. They don't engage as often as the other types, they tend to be more quiet. These are the people that might consider themselves introverts. In meetings, processors are the people that might not engage but when they do, they've got all of the detail.
