In today's session, we'll review the steps of Job Instruction, discuss your training timetable examples, get some more instruction practice, then we'll learn about dealing with special problems with JI. Finally, we'll end the session with a brief review and prep for day five. Alright, let's review the four get-ready points. Can you recall all four? They are have a timetable, break down the job, have everything ready, and have the workplace properly arranged. Here's a quick review of each point. First, the training timetable is a simple visual management tool to help us plan JI training for a specific department or area. It helps us answer three questions. Who will be trained? On what skill? And by what date? The timetable is usually maintained by an area supervisor or team leader, but you should do what works best for your organization.…
