Rewarding yourself

- When you're trying to keep yourself motivated, it's important to recognize successes and reward those successes. Now, we're in sales. Pretty much everything we do is incentivized by our employers. We get commission. Some employers offer bonuses for completing things like cold call targets or selling certain products over others. Promotions are generally given to top billers. And even the way we're perceived by our colleagues depends on how well we perform. But it's important to reward ourselves from time to time too. External factors like your boss or your colleagues can decide on rewards for the behaviors that they want. Closing sales, booking meetings, making calls, whatever, but if you ignore those for a moment and reward yourself for what you want to achieve, then you can adjust your own behavior too.
