- This past year, I had the opportunity to speak in Latin America, was the very first time I'd ever worked in Latin America and I was working actually in Columbia. I had a presentation for over 600 dealer owners across countries throughout Latin America. Now, I had done my research, I'd done my homework, I'd talked with the meeting planner extensively, but I was really caught off guard when I showed up. And while I knew that it was a relationship oriented group of people, I did not realize how important partying and really staying out all night and talking with people was far more important than actually doing the business at hand.
