- There are so many options for video conferencing that it can be baffling choosing the right platform. I have my favorites but that's down to my own personal needs and preferences. It wouldn't be right for me to assume that they'd work just as well for you. So I want to highlight some of the most important features to help you make a wise selection. The basics you'll want from any piece of software is quality video and audio, screen sharing and a chat area. Some platform boast 4K video and enhanced audio with background noise removal. These are nice to have but they're not essential. I think the user experience for attendees is the most important thing. This starts with them signing in. Do they need to download a piece of software or can they simply log in through their browser? Are they able to join on the phone or tablet or do they need use a laptop?
