- One of my first clients as a consultant was a man who wanted to be a better coach. He recognized the power of good coaching and how it would benefit him and his team. But he found that in the sessions, either people wouldn't open up or he just couldn't get them to fully engage in being coached. That's because good coaching doesn't start with a conversation.
