- When you're building up a relationship with a green person it's really important to be a good listener. But it's also important to put some emotions into the pot as well, to actually show how you feel. And this may be quite an alien thing for you to do, if you're a blue or a red person. And why do we have to show emotions if it's to do with work? But unfortunately we do. When we're dealing with the yellow, we have to have excited emotions. And when we're dealing with the green, we have to have those more caring type of emotions. So start by asking about how they feel about things and really listen. But then open up about how you feel about things. And it's absolutely fine to tell them that certain things really upset you or you're desperate to improve certain areas. Put some passion into it.
