(rushing sound effect) - [Rich] Ron our five day cycle, starts with planning. So I want to show you how we do planning - [Ron] Okay. - [Rich] It's a very visual, tactile system, it's different. We don't use software for planning. - Okay. - Which some people find kind of odd for a software company. - No Gantt Charts? Or anything like that? - No Gantt Charts, no Microsoft project, no Jira, we use this paper-based planning system that you see in front of you. - Okay. - The foundational element of our planning system is a hand-written story card, a five and half inch by eight and a half inch hand-written index card. And so, again, unusual. Why do we choose both an index card, a small index card, and why do we choose hand writing? Very important to us. - The software in your handwriting, you know? - Yeah, yeah.
