- Fake it till you make it. We've all heard that phrase before and it applies to many different scenarios. But I'm saying apply it to your cold calling as well. So bear with me here, I'm not talking about lying and I'm saying take this advice with a pinch of salt. So what I'm saying is we need to be assertive and build relationships quickly on cold calls and that can be done by mirroring and putting on the right personas to reflect the person you're calling. So it's great for two scenarios. So getting past the gatekeeper and second, quickly connecting with the prospects once we reached them.
