- Alright, folks, a question I usually get is where do I find this untapped neurodivergent talent? There are so many resources out there, but first remember that neurodiversity is not visible. You might have already missed hiring great candidates because of a failure in your traditional interview processes. To increase your workforce diversity, you must also increase where you look for candidates. So the unemployment rates for the neurodivergent population vary depending on the group. There's an 85% unemployment rate for autistics, 30% for those with ADHD, roughly 50% for dyslexics, and over 65% unemployment for individuals that are dyspraxic. These are telltale signs that the traditional means of applying, interviewing and keeping a job are not working.
