- Have you ever felt grumpy, your stomach is rumbling, and you realize it's 3:00 PM and you never ate lunch? Make sure this doesn't happen by making sure you schedule in some time each day to stop and eat a healthy lunch. Here are a few best practices for making sure you eat a healthy lunch every day. First, schedule it into your day. Make sure you give yourself at least 30 minutes to stop whatever work you're doing and take a break. When you eat a healthy lunch, you completely recharge your battery with good fuel, so make sure to put it on your calendar, so you have uninterrupted time to take a break. And just like you would make an appointment with someone else and not break it, keep this one with yourself. You'll be really glad you did. Next, prep some healthy food for the week.
