- Around 10 years ago, I was with my team. And we were getting ready to walk into a big meeting with the CEO and a group of advertising executives who were getting ready to potentially hire us. But we were not optimistic that we were going to win this business. So as we were sitting in the lobby, we were all pretty nervous and not super confident. Our host greeted us and walked us into this auditorium, which was, strangely enough, incredibly dark. So we all sat there waiting, as the CEO was late, and his team was late. And we noticed that we were all wearing black that day, which was kind of odd, and the room was really dark. So we made a decision, we hid. And then when the CEO and his team walked in, we jumped out and said boom! They were all, as you can imagine, relatively startled, but they all started to laugh.
