- Working from home means constantly prioritizing the needs of others. If your kids are very young, then there are never ending physical challenges, feeding, diapering, managing crying, theirs, not just yours. If your kids are teenagers, then you may be constantly fretting about social media, household chores, or their moods. And kids in the middle maybe taking up your whole day just needing help logging in for their math assignment. Let's be clear, these demands are ridiculously steep and you have finite time and attention. So we've got to adjust our expectations.
