Tools for success to use in this course

- A few weeks ago, my 15-year-old daughter decided to bake a pretty complex cake and didn't tell me. She didn't know I had a whole box of cake baking supplies downstairs, including piping bags and tips, a cake leveler, and one of those rotating kickstands that you use when you frost the cake. She did actually a really good job, but the process would have been a lot easier and more enjoyable if she'd had the right tools for the job. So, here are the supplies that will set you up for success as you visualize your leadership journey. A set of fine-tipped colored markers for writing and drawing, a set of colored pencils for adding color to the worksheets, scissors and a glue stick for cutting out images to add to the worksheets, letter-sized paper for printing out the worksheets, and I do prefer using slightly thicker paper here than your standard printer paper so try to get some 32-pound paper if you can. And lastly, 11 by 17 inch paper for printing out the final journey graphic template. Most of us can't print this large from our home printers so you'll probably need to get the final template printed at your local print shop, and ask for 32-pound paper for this as well. You can certainly complete your leadership journey graphic without adding color or drawing, but I'd recommend you have pencils and markers on hand in case you want to give it a shot. Let's get going.
