- Managing misconduct in the workplace is absolutely crucial because if you don't you nurture a culture where inappropriate behavior is acceptable, and this will have a negative impact on employee engagement and trust in your leadership. Because managing misconduct can lead to the dismissal of an employee, you need to ensure that you follow a few procedural steps to avoid a possible unfair dismissal case.
