- Have you ever been trying to work and you just get interrupted, not just by emails, but by text messages? One way to set up boundaries and get more work done is to set your phone on airplane mode for set chunks of time during the day. Here are a few steps for cutting down the interruptions to your work time. First, set boundaries. If you need to let people know ahead of time that you can't be reached during that time, do it.
