- So I have a secret trick. It's a trick I use to always meet my deadlines and always delight the customer. It's super easy and super effective. It makes people have that warm feeling inside of being incredibly impressed with the job I've done and a feeling of being emotionally bound to come back and buy more from me and my business. It sounds like a hell of a trip, doesn't it? Well, here it is. I under promise and over deliver and that's it. So what do I mean by that? This is simply telling someone I'm going to do a good job and then doing a great job. So if you were to do the opposite and over promise and under deliver, then you'd be promising the world and then falling short, disappointing the customer, even if you'd done a reasonable job by market rate. So that'd be comparable to an online delivery saying your package will arrive next day when it actually takes two. You wouldn't be very happy if that happened…
