Understanding your value

- The first thing we need when we're building our resilience is an understanding of both our value and our product's value. If we totally understand why each of these are a value, then it's hard to knock our confidence. Think of it like this. Let's say you're an architect and you've built a building specifically designed to withstand an earthquake, right up to 10 on the Richter scale. It's got flexible foundations, super strong steel walls, shatterproof glass, the lot. If you're inside that building on the day an earthquake hits, however powerful, you're going to be sat back in your chair, confident that you're safe and sound sat right where you are. It's not arrogance, it's not gambling and hoping that the building stays up, it's confidence through knowledge.
