- One of the not-so-secret ways that people find networks is to search meetup.com. This site has a ton of great options for any kind of meetup, and many people use it for social connections. But it's also a great resource for finding small to midsize meetups in your industry too. If you're an entrepreneur, you could find several meetups for business owners, startup founders, and more. To maximize meetup.com, look for specific and general groups that are in your area.
