Using confident body posture

- If I'm in a meeting and I'm speaking with someone I'm going to make sure my body posture is good because it exudes confidence. This is also true if I'm listening to someone else speak because my posture indicates I'm listening and I'm engaged. If you're on a video call there are strategic ways to position your body so not only does it look more appropriate and professional but it also indicates that you're engaged. If you're going to be sitting while on a video call make sure you have a good distance between you and the camera. If you're going to be speaking and presenting the best way to sit is to actually sit on just the front half of the chair and not scoot all the way back. In fact this is the way many TV news anchors sit when they're on air because it opens up their diaphragm so they're speaking from this area which helps project their voice.
