- As great as LinkedIn is for gathering quick information that's in the professional domain, not all of the information you need is on there. Sometimes we can go to other social media platforms, and the business's own website can be great for finding those you can't find on LinkedIn. Some just don't use the tool, and more so, some like to remain private or hidden, and therefore they won't show up in your search. So when I'm trying to track someone down in a particular business, I would always start with their own company website. That's information that's probably up to date and should have definitions of roles and hierarchy straight from the source. The most likely part of a company website to reveal who fills those roles are the team pages. Most businesses put up a page called Meet the Team, Our Team, Who We Are, something along those lines.
