What gets in the way of collaboration?
- Have you experienced turbulence when you were flying? I don't mean the please fasten your seat belts, we are experiencing some mild turbulence from the captain. I mean the roller coaster drops and dips and tilts that come from heavy turbulence. The kind that makes you a little woozy. I was flying coast to coast with a coworker. We were planning on collaborating on a project once we hit cruising level, but somewhere over Chicago we hit a storm. With our seatbelts fastened, tray tables stowed and the flight attendants in their jump seats. The plane dropped altitude shook and creaked. Passengers shrieked, babies cried and I heard at least three people pray out loud. We had hit heavy turbulence. So much for our collaboration. The work project would have to wait.
