(upbeat music) - Social media platforms make it possible for us to stay connected with friends and family across the world. We can use social media and other platforms to see what's happening in our friends' lives, to share personal news, and to stay in touch with others. But sharing things online isn't always safe. Things you intend to only be shared with friends could be found and viewed by strangers in any number of ways. For example, say you just bought a new car. - I can't wait for people to see this thing. I think I'll post a photo of it on Facebook. - It might seem innocent enough, but that picture includes a lot of personal information about you. It tells anyone who sees it, what make and model of car you have. Some people use their cars make and model as the basis for their internet passwords.
