- This course is the first of three programs in the Mastering Authentic Influence coaching and training series. Mastering Authentic Influence for Highly Successful Sales is an updated version of our Brandon Hall award-winning sales training program. It's an online sales training course for cross-functional professionals and teams who have client-facing responsibilities. In it, I share the processes, skills, tools, exercises, coaching tips I've taught to over 20,000 client-facing professionals and teams at firms like Citibank and Merrill Lynch, Bessemer and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, and even HBO. The skills we teach are evergreen, not a fad. In 50 years, in 100 years, these skills are going to matter. They're foundational to every relationship you have, not just the professional ones. That means even moreso it's worth getting better at this skillset. The skills include things like asking truly strategic questions, demonstrating unparalleled, insightful listening, presenting yourself and your ideas in ways that are relevant and compelling, handling objections and handling opposing points of view, advocating for your ideas without losing the relationship, controlling a meeting without coming across as controlling, and a whole lot more.
