- Let's have a closer look at the greyhound. So the greyhound is the person who goes fast, but in circles because they're efficient, but they don't have goals. The good thing about the greyhound is they get lots done. They're efficient and they're hard working, organizations love greyhounds because they just work without ever questioning why. So greyhounds function really happily if others are feeding them work. Providing you give a supply of work to the greyhound, they just carry on and that's great. But they might realize, suddenly when they have a midlife crisis, and they might suddenly think, hang on a minute, I've been running around this track for 10 or 15 years and I've not gotten anywhere. So at least you've realized at that point, but ideally you'd realize sooner than that, 'cause you don't want to waste 10 years and suddenly realize you've done that.
