(upbeat music) - Hi there, welcome back. All right, in this module we're going to begin our hoshin journey by discussing one aspect of the first hoshin planning step, namely, how to define the mission of the organization. Well, specifically, by the end of this module you'll know what makes a solid mission statement, as well as how to go about creating one. Now, before we get started, I do want to say that we realize many of those watching this already have a mission and vision for their organization. Now with this said, it's not our intention for you to scrap what you already have in place. Instead, it's our hope that the things we talk about in this module will allow you to review and possibly make improvements, when applicable.
