Be open

- Another value that we take very, very seriously is the concept of being open, and what we mean by that is that we want to be an open platform. We want businesses and companies to be able to build on top of Facebook. We say be open in terms of how we lead with transparency. Every Friday, Mark Zuckerberg leads a Q and A around the world where people can submit questions, they can ask questions live, and those questions are hard questions and he wants them to be hard, and he's very accessible to any of those questions on a weekly basis. Be open has manifested itself in the way we do our office space. None of the executives have offices. We have lots of conference rooms and desks, and we move around rapidly from meeting to meeting, and so, our office space is viewed very open. How we show up to the business community is also a core value of being open. We share things very transparently. We seek advice from core components like our global client council and our measurement council. We're incredibly open about our product plans so we can get their feedback. The concept of be open is pervasive in how we operate and how we show up. And then, a very real example, I believe, is also how all of us show up as human beings, as part of our Facebook community. We are very open with how we share on our personal life, with how we share things that are on our mind, again, making us all a much more, I think, approachable and open culture.
