- It's super important to be a proactive communicator when you're working from home. And when you're writing your policy, you want to make sure that teams are documenting that strategy. Now let's talk about making sure they have the right tools to use 'cause every team uses a set of different platforms. And this could be something like having a Slack channel, using email, having a shared calendar, making sure they're using video communication tools. Every team will be different, but they have to have some agreement on the tools that they will be using. Now we use those tools is important as teams create their own guidelines. So making sure you have a plan for if somebody wants to just tap somebody on the shoulder and has a quick question. You might want to use instant messenger.
