- Welcome to "Mastering Authentic Influence for Highly Successful Sales." My name's Molly Sargent. I'm extremely excited about having you join us for this journey into how to use nuanced skills, as well as essential skills for being successful in your client-facing meetings. This course is based on a program that I've been teaching for years at companies like Citibank and Bank of America, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, many, many organizations and financial services, professional services, pharmaceuticals, even in media and hotels. It's a Brandon Hall award-winning program, which means that it's been vetted by many people and said, "Yep, this is making a difference in our ability to be successful." So here's what you can expect. I'm excited because there are eight different chapters in this program. And in it, we cover the approach for being highly collaborative and influential in the way that you approach your client-facing meetings. We're going to be taking a look at skills that have to do with how to open meetings, how to control without coming across as controlling, how to ask questions and listen effectively, so that you get even more than you expected with and for clients. we're going to be taking a look at some problem-solving skills, how to overcome resistance, how to present your ideas so that they're compelling and influential, and how to close out a meeting in a way where everyone feels really good about the decision.
