- Over the last two centuries as corporations have formed, we've created a set of patterns and belief systems that allowed these corporations to flourish. At that time, 200 years ago, it was necessary to create standards for behavior and performance in order for these corporations to be established and to drive economies. Well, times have changed dramatically. Today we understand that a success of a business is directly tied to its ability to connect with customers, be purposeful, and inspire its workforce. Unfortunately, even though we have this new level of understanding, many corporations are still operating with outdated belief systems and patterns.
