- The glorified salesperson is a lone wolf. Someone who knows everything about their product and can answer any question on the subject. They manage their time to perfection and organizes the entire sales process from start to finish. They don't need anybody, just a phone, a desk and a good commission plan. But firstly, I didn't think these people actually exist. Secondly, that person isn't actually the perfect salesperson. They're great because they sell, and who doesn't want to hire a salesperson that sells? But to me, they could be doing better. They're wasting mental energy memorizing everything about their product or service for a start when they should be focusing their mind on what they've been hired to do, find opportunities and close business.
